Terms of sale and delivery

1. Scope

These terms of sale apply when you as a consumer shop at www.Elshoppen.dk.

As part of the Web page driver Elshoppen ApS (hereafter ” Elshoppen “Marketplace”) The marketplace, which is a trading platform where you as a consumer can buy goods directly from Elshoppen ApS and/or our partners.

The terms of sale thus apply regardless of whether you buy goods directly from Elshoppen ApS and/or from a business partner.

These terms of sale and, if necessary, the individual terms of the responsible partner, together with the order confirmation, constitute the total contractual basis for your purchase.

The total agreement and the other information on Elshoppen.dk can only be found in Danish. You must be 18 years of age or over to shop on the Web page.

Please note that Elshoppen ApS webshop www.Elshoppen.dk is for consumers only. If you wish to act as a trader, please contact Elshoppen ApS at e-mail contact@elshoppen.dk.

2. General information about the webshop and marketplace

Elshoppen ApS has teamed up with a number of partners to offer you, the consumer, a larger selection of goods in one place and a better overall shopping experience. We call this the Marketplace and means that you can buy goods from both Elshoppen ApS and/or from one or more partners.

One trading platform but multiple sellers and purchase agreements
If you buy items on the Marketplace from several sellers, you will enter into several separate purchase agreements – e.g. one with Elshoppen ApS and one with the partner.

What is a business partner?
Elshoppen ApS has partnered with selected partners who sell their own goods on the Marketplace as independent companies.

How do you know if an item is being sold by Elshoppen IVS or a partner?
This will be clear on the item page, the shopping cart and on the order confirmation if the seller of a specific item is a business partner.

What does it mean to you if it is a business partner who sells the item?
In this case, it is the partner (and not Elshoppen ApS) with whom you enter into an agreement and the partner alone will be responsible for the fulfilment of the agreement. Elshoppen ApS will only be a facilitator of the agreement between you and the partner.

This means that the rights you have as a consumer under the Danish Sale of Goods Act and the Consumer Contract Act (see paragraphs 5, 7, 8 and 10 below) must be invoked against the partner as a seller. Therefore, you should always contact the responsible partner directly (and not Elshoppen ApS) if, for example, you have questions about your order, delivery or want to return your item.

You should also be aware that the responsible partner may have individual terms that apply in addition to these terms of sale. The individual terms for each partner will appear on the shopping cart as well as on the website.

As a rule, the responsible partner will reply to you within 2 working days at your stated e-mail address.

You also have the opportunity to find contact information on the responsible partner on the website or via link on the item page and on your order confirmation.

3. Parties

“Seller” is: Elshoppen ApS or a business partner.

This will be clearly stated on the goods side, the shopping cart and on the order confirmation if the seller is a business partner and in this case Elshoppen ApS only facilitates the agreement.

Elshoppen ApS information is shown below, while the partner’s contact information is displayed on the website or via link on the item page and on your order confirmation.

4. Online commerce

Below is a description of the purchase process, so you can always feel safe when shopping on the website.

  1. Read about the goods and notice if they are sold by Elshoppen ApS or a business partner
  2. Select the item you want
  3. Add it to your shopping cart
  4. Select the method of shipment and payment
  5. Check the order and correct any typing errors
  6. Confirm the order and accept Elshoppen ApS terms of sale and data protection policy as well as the individual terms of the responsible partner, if applicable
  7. Receive electronic receipt for receipt of order
  8. Receive committed order confirmation(s) from Elshoppen ApS and/or business partner(s) if you have purchased more than one item

5. Your order

Please note that your placing of an order is not a legally binding agreement. A binding agreement has only been reached between you and Elshoppen ApS and/or you and your partner when you have received one or more binding order confirmations from Elshoppen ApS and/or partner.

Placing an order
Placing an order through the website is not a legally binding agreement for the seller. The salesperson is not bound by the agreement until you have received an order confirmation. This means that the seller has the option to cancel your order due to misprints, technical problems, delivery failures if the item is not in stock and similar situations.

Once you have placed an order via the website, Elshoppen ApS system send you an email stating which items you have ordered. This is only an electronic receipt for receipt of your order. The receipt is not an order confirmation.

You will receive an order confirmation from the seller as soon as possible if your order is acceptable. If you have ordered items from several sellers (e.g. from Elshoppen ApS and one or more collaborators) and you will receive two (or more) order confirmations.

You should read through the individual order confirmation carefully and check that it matches the order. If it does not match your order, e.g. because a seller can only deliver one of two ordered items, then you will have the option to cancel the order with a short deadline.

Only after you have received an order confirmation has a legally binding agreement been concluded between you and Elshoppen ApS and/or you and partner.

6. Payment

When you shop on Elshoppen ApS website, it is Elshoppen ApS that handles the payment. If you have any questions about payment, please contact Elshoppen ApS.

All prices are in Danish kroner and including VAT. All expenses related to the item, including postage, freight, packaging, etc., as well as a total price will be stated when ordering and in the order confirmation.

Shipping costs will vary depending on the item and mode of delivery you have selected. If you buy multiple items from the same salesperson, then all items will basically be shipped in the same shipment and you will only be charged for delivery once. If you buy multiple items from different sellers, then each seller will send you a separate package and you will pay for delivery for each shipment.

You can choose from the payment options that we offer in the purchase process. To minimize the risk of unauthorized access, your payment card information is encrypted. Once we have received your order, we will reserve the amount via the selected payment method to ensure that the purchase price is covered so that the transaction can be completed.

Amounts will not be withdrawn on your card until the item is being deseeded. If your order is split into several orders from different sellers, then there will be an ongoing payment charge. This means that your debit card is charged for each time Elshoppen ApS and/or a partner ship your product. However, you will never have to pay more than the total amount that you have ordered and purchased for.

7. Delivery and delay

Delivery time
Expected delivery time will appear in connection with your order and on the order confirmation. If you have ordered more than one item, your order can be split into multiple deliveries and delivery times.

Delivery costs
Delivery costs will depend on the type of item, the number of items, the delivery address, etc. and will appear on your order and on the order confirmation.

If you ordered more than one item, your order can be split into multiple deliveries and delivery times. However, you will only be charged for delivery costs once. If, on the other hand, your ordered goods are sold by several sellers (e.g. Elshoppen ApS and a partner or two different business partners), then you will have to pay more delivery costs. In this case, it will appear in your order and order confirmation.

Mode of delivery
The mode of delivery is shown in the order confirmation. the seller bears the risk of the item until it is handed over to you, i.e. until the item is in your possession.

When delivering where the goods are carried in, you must make sure that it is possible to transport the goods into your place of residence. Upon delivery, you must be at home to accept the item and we can ask to see identification before we hand it over. If you have asked us to carry the item in, be sure to protect the floor, walls, etc. Due to health and safety requirements, our carriers must keep approved protective equipment on, including shoes.
If the item is ordered for in-store pickup and paid online, the order is considered an online order, which is regulated by, among other things, the Consumer Contract Act, the Marketing Act, the Personal Data Act and the E-Commerce Act. For more information about your rights and obligations as a consumer, the laws are available on the www.retsinformation.dk.
If your package is damaged on arrival, please contact us within 14 days as the package will be replaced by DAO or GLS. According to their terms, this must be done within 14 days of receipt of the item.

Delayed delivery
If delivery of your item is delayed, you will be notified as soon as the seller becomes aware of the delay. At the same time, you will be notified when you can expect your item to be delivered.

Unsuccessful delivery
If you are not available at the delivery address at the agreed delivery time, you will be charged new freight for re-delivery.

Questions about your delivery?
Contact the responsible salesperson (that is, the salesperson responsible). Elshoppen ApS or the partner) from which you have purchased the item. See sections 2-3 for contact information.

Delivery to packing boxes
Mail packages can be redirected by PostNord or Bring to a collection point other than the one selected if the parcel box is full or if the package size does not fit in the available boxes. In this case, you will be informed directly from the distributor

8a. Right of withdrawal

14 days right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal gives you the right to cancel the purchase without giving a reason. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify the seller within 14 days of receipt of the item by using the right of withdrawal or by letter, e-mail or telephone, with reference to the order number.

You must then return the item without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the date on which you have informed the seller that you will exercise your right of withdrawal. The deadline is met if you simply return or ship the item within the 14 days.

If the item has been sold by Elshoppen ApS, notify you of withdrawal and return directly to Elshoppen Aps. Smaller items can be returned as a mail package. Larger items can be picked up by appointment (costs are expected to amount to DKK 499).


When ordering goods via Elshoppen ApS online store (www.Elshoppen.dk) you confirm that you do not buy goods as a trader or for resale. Customers who, despite the above, still buy as a company, the following terms apply:

  • No right of withdrawal
  • No right of return
  • Freight on complaints own expense
  • Handling complaints must go to the manufacturer or service partner and cannot be advertised at Elshoppen Aps
  • 12-month complaint

8b. Reservation of the right of withdrawal

Refund of the purchase amount
The seller must refund the amount you paid for the item, including delivery costs (excluding additional costs due to your choice of a mode of delivery other than the cheapest form of standard delivery offered by the seller). The amount must be refunded to you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which the seller received your notice to exercise the right of withdrawal. However, the seller may withhold the amount until the item has been returned, or you have provided evidence that the item has been returned, whichever is earlier.

The condition of the item on return
You are liable only for any deterioration in the value of the item due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item. In other words, you can try the item in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store, but you are not allowed to use it in real use.

If the item has been tried, in addition to what is described above, it is considered used, which means that upon cancellation of the purchase, you will only get a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item.

Return expenses and risk
You must bear the cost of returning the item yourself and you bear the risk of the item from the time of delivery of the item to you until it has been returned to us.

If you have ordered a return label it must be used within 6 days or we will receive a fine of 200 DKK to be paid by the customer.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item, as described above. Furthermore, it is important a parcel label is used within 6 days of receipt.

Special return policy for Collaborators
You should be aware that each partner may have a special return policy. In some cases, a partner may offer you a better legal position than the statutory right of withdrawal listed above. In this case, it will appear in your purchase.

9. Complaints

The rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act may apply. This means, among other things, that you as a consumer have a 2-year warranty from receipt of the goods under the Danish Sale of Goods Act.

When and how to advertise?
Once you have received the item, we recommend that you check as soon as possible if it corresponds to the order confirmation, if the item has been damaged during transport, and if there are errors with the item.

If there is a defect, you must advertise directly to the seller (i.e. the seller) who is not a seller. Elshoppen ApS or business partner) from which you purchased the item. The complaint must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. If you advertise within 2 months of the defect being discovered, complaints will always be timely.

You must agree with the responsible salesperson – Elshoppen ApS or partner – how the item is returned and whether the cost of the item will be refunded.

All customers who accept our terms and conditions agree that Elshoppen.dk, may contact them by email with offers and advertising no more than 3 times per year.

10. Change of terms

If we change our terms, consents and policies and it has a material impact on you and your purchased services, we will inform you by email or we will not. You can always see the current terms on our webshop.
